Edmonton Foot Bridge Project
Norellco was one of the companies that worked on the Edmonton Foot Bridge in 2008. Norellco was responsible for the earthwork in the river for the bridge supports. This project was unique since earth berms had to be created to reach each location in the river before the supports were built; the area where the supports were placed had to have room for equipment to access it. Norellco extended the river bank to reach these locations and also removed it once the bridge was complete. The bridge is located just south of Fort Edmonton crossing over the North Saskatchewan River. The bridge can be accessed by a path that runs along the river.
