Groat Road Storm Basin Project
The purpose behind the Groat road storm basin is to improve the quality of water draining into the North Saskatchewan River from the City of Edmonton's Drainage Systems.
Nocrellco began the job in November 2010 and was completed in 2011. The job included stripping the area, installing treatment units for the storm water, culverts and pipes to allow for draining, and storm filters. The storm basin is located on the North side of the North Saskatchewan River, West of the Groat road bridge
